The One Part Word Game

A party game for a group of people... school age kids would also find this an interesting challenge.

The Goal: 

To be the last person standing.

The Rules:

The game is played in rounds and turns, with the task being to respond to a prompt using only one syllable words.  

One  person is chosen to start and asks a question to the person on their left.  

In the first round, they have 15 seconds to respond in a full thought that answers the question. If they do not answer the question, if they use a multi syllable word, or if they pause for longer than 5 seconds, they are out of the game.  To determine if the question has been answered sufficiently, the group decides by vote.

Once each person has a turn, the round ends and the next begins.  With each additional round, an extra 15 seconds is added to the clock. (R1 - 15secs, R2 - 30secs, etc.)

The game is played until only one player remains.

It is helpful if one person is designated the timekeeper.
